About MNPR Tickets

Last updated 26 August 2026

MNPR Tickets started with a simple, frustrating moment. A friend wanted to see a show. The seated tickets needed a "code" that was never explained anywhere obvious. By the time they tracked one down, - still unsure what the "code" was for, the show had sold out! The standing tickets, sitting right next to the seated ones on the same page, never needed a code at all.

There was no good reason for that. Just an unexplained hurdle that cost someone a night they'd been looking forward to.

That's the whole reason this platform exists. Before we build anything, we ask one question: would this have stopped my friend from buying that ticket? If the answer is yes, we don't build it.

What that actually means

  • Every fee is shown before you pay — not added at the last screen, not hidden in a percentage you have to do the maths on yourself
  • Resale is capped at face value, always — never marked up, so a friend who can't make it any more can pass their ticket on without anyone skimming a markup off the top
  • Free e-tickets are actually free — no delivery fee for a QR code that costs us nothing to send
  • A portion of every booking fee goes into the Grassroots Backline Fund, supporting the venues, musicians, and grassroots music spaces that a platform like this exists to serve in the first place

Why there's no cookie banner

We don't use Google Analytics, and we don't run tracking or advertising cookies. We use a privacy-first analytics tool that tells us which pages people visit without following anyone around the internet afterwards, or storing anything that identifies a real person. It's a small thing on its own, but it's consistent with everything else here — we'd rather build trust than extract a bit more data than we actually need. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail.
